TANKERS

Tankers require special procedures and equipment. Most companies use straight handled extended brushes to clean the upper portion of the tanker. Because of the curved shape of the tank, the upper side portion of the tanker is subject to scratch marks from the brush handle. At Master Wash, we developed a curved handled brush extension exclusively for this application. This allows for precise cleaning of the upper region of the tanker and because of the curved handle, there is no contact with the tanker other than the soft brush resulting in a scratch free result. Another key part of our procedure is the physical wiping of the tank after washing. Contact with the deionized water will leave spots if not immediately wiped down. We spend the extra time to make sure the polishing of fuel tanks and wheels meets or exceeds our clients’ expectations.

MASTER WASH | WATER RECOVERY

SITE PLAN

Before washing begins, a physical inspection of the wash site, will determine water flow characteristics, storm water entry points and legal disposal areas (as required). Upon completion of this inspection, you will have an opportunity to review a written site recovery plan specifying the exact methods and procedures to be implemented.

CONTAINMENT

Wastewater must be directed using booms or dikes. High efficiency drain covers are a critical element to the successful recovery of wastewater. These covers have evolved from simple rubber mats to a custom sized, highly efficient piece of equipment. These covers completely seal storm drains, and they eliminative possible seepage of any contaminated water entering the sewers or waterways

COLLECTION

Once contained, the wastewater must be physically removed from the parking surface. This procedure utilizes a special high-powered pumping system designed to evacuate the wastewater from the site surface and deliver it to a holding tank on board a vehicle. Other procedures deployed by some companies are not as effective and may lead to violations.

DISPOSAL

Our extraction systems remove all the waste water to a tank either in the wash van or in a separate purpose built holding-tank truck. At completion the filled waste tanks are secured to prevent spilling . these vehicles conform with all current government regulation that provide for the tracking of waste streams. Volumes and dates are recorded and submitted annually to the regulating.
